Persnickety Books is a wonderful place to read, study, buy used books and get good coffee! The staff are so friendly. They have different reading and writing events, and an upstairs that I have yet to discover. My friend calls it a gem on the fringe of the ghetto. I call it a warm bookstore.

Shawna is amazing! This shop is a coffee shop and indie book store, all in one. Also offering non-alcoholic specialty beverages. The coffee is fresh and tastes great. The book selection is various and stimulating. A must-visit for anyone in Burlington!

Great local bookstore with loads of high quality used books. They helped me find and order some books for my niece and also arranged the shipping. A few weeks back there was a tea tasting event in the upstairs area. Educational and fun! They also have a coffee bar downstairs. Lots of fun non-book items as well. Great place to pick up some gifts as well as books.

Everyone in this store is so lovely and welcoming! Carrie is always so sweet when my partner and I come in and always remembers our names! The store itself is also so cozy with lots of comfy chairs and so many good book!! I always recommend persnickety
