I’ve been wanting to make my way to this coffee shop while visiting home and I’m happy I did! I ordered the Heazog with oat milk and the Birdie’s. Both taste amazing! My barista was accommodating if I didn’t like how my coffee came out on the first cup but made it perfectly. I love a good barista who cares for the craft of coffee making. It shows in every sip. I’m writing this review before finishing up my coffee and meal because I was that impressed by the first sip and bite into my croissant. This place sees a lot of foot traffic. It has a small space to sit inside (6 seats/very tight) and outside (2 tables for two). I managed to get the last pastries, peanut butter bites. They were incredibly soft and yummy. My mocha and latte for my mom was perfect temperature, creamy and so amazing. I took their punch card that is split by food and drinks. Next time, I’ll pop in earlier to get their other pastries. Barista was also very considerate and asked if my drinks were up to my standards. That was the cherry on top!

Stumbled upon Headrest one morning while looking for coffee with my fiancé, boy are we happy we decided to go with it because in the 4-6 weeks we first went we’ve been back almost once a week. The staff is wonderful, sweet and attentive. The food is DELICIOUS, and the coffee is divine, originally crafted, each creation has been a favorite and I plan on getting through each option of their seasonal menu. A must for any busy New Yorker to come and remind themselves to take a minute to slow down and enjoy themselves.
