We love the Homestake Pub and it has been our go-to spot for lunch and dinner. We always recommend here for friends who visit Butte (especially if we can join them!) I've made my through a lot of the menu and have a few go-to favorites. Everything is so tasty! Service has always been good, the owners are wonderful people, and we enjoy the atmosphere - especially the arcade in back. Our kids love coming here and playing Pac Man or Mortal Kombat with their handful of quarters. Summer nights are the best on the back patio!

If you haven’t tried the Chislic (pronounced Chiz-lick) yet, you’d be crazy not to! It’s tender sirloin cubes, marinated, then flash deep-fried, served with a dipping sauce of your choice… Great bar snack, or lunch/dinner entree… (also comes with fries, or a side salad, & Texas toast). These guys know how to season, & serve with the best of them. Their fries alone are to DIE for. Breakfast is also amazing…. The Homestake Pub has the intimate ambience of your neighborhood “Cheers”. It’s like having Norm & Cliff at the end of the bar. Need I say more?🍻

My wife chose this place because they offered a salad, and knew that I love Reubens (it’s even in my bio!) I couldn’t have been more pleased with this selection. Drew was an awesome server, and very attentive, without being overbearing. He had some great advice, and offered things before we needed to ask. I had to go with the Reuben, and I’m sure glad I did! They start with a perfectly crisp, but not greasy, marbled rye to hold a perfect amount of sauerkraut, melted cheese, and thousand Island. The star of the show is the corned beef. I stumbled upon this absolute GEM 💎 of a Pub & Grill almost by accident... Fishing and hiking my way around northwest Montana, I had no intention of going down to Butte.
