I've been driving by that Sushi Planet sign on the 101 as long as I can remember... At least 26 years, and I've never stopped in, until now! After a long trash weekend my wife and I stopped by on a Sunday for a good meal and a rise in spirits and Sushi Planet delivered. The space is cozy and appropriately dim, with cool trimmings like dark painted wood and decor that give it a Japanese architecural vibe insie. A lot of the staff was speaking Japanese to each other too I believe. There was moderate volume kpop and jpop music playing in the fairly busy dining room for a late lunch or early din

Our meal was delicious! The sushi rolls are very generous portions. The garlic edamame was soooo good! You can eat at the sushi counter or at a table.

I placed an order for sushi, specifying that I didn't want avocado because of an allergy, but when it arrived at my house, it had avocado in it. I think it's dangerous that they don't pay attention to what the customer requests. Especially when it comes to allergies.
