Why is it so hard to program the app to notify customers only when the order is actually ready? Please don’t ask me to check with the barista while the drink is still being made. They’re busy and don’t have time to keep confirming names with customers.Ever since this shop was bought by a large organization—private equity?—it’s lost the feel of a small coffee place with a personalized, welcoming experience. Now it feels like an assembly line: nonstop production, no greetings, no smiles, just heads down making drinks. At that point, why wouldn’t I just go to Starbucks?
