If you want an authentic diner experience with beyond delicious food, this is the place. Best Chicked Fried Steak I’ve ever had. All their food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. Claude and Heidi were friendly, attentive, and so caring. Claude took care of us with a wonderful smile on his face and such a pleasant and happy attitude, and delightful humor. Heidi literally read my mind when I wanted hot sauce, brought the sauce and delicious salsa without me having to ask. And Heidi has just the right amount of Sas, which adds to the authentic Diner experience. Wow!!!!

I would have loved to give this adorable place 5 stars. Real ceramic dishes made in the usa! Great coffee. Hands down it would have been so easy...but here's what happened. I was so excited to finally try a "chicken fried steak!" And it's on the menu here at a somewhat reasonable price so I went for it. I could blame my expectations but after googling a bit...I was right. It's supposed to be a real steak, pounded thin and prepared lime fried chicken. What I got was not that. Stopped in yesterday for my first time and I had the biggest Chicken Fried Steak that I’ve ever had, and one of the better ones I’ve ever tasted. Henri’s is an old school classic LA diner in the valley with great service and fair prices. They have a small free parking lot in the back, but it was full when I arrived so I had to find neighborhood parking. There was about a 20 minute wait when I arrived, but I was dining solo so I took a seat at the counter and was able to sit immediately when I arrived. My server was extremely polite and was extremely fast with the coffee refills. It’s quite lar
