Hearty breakfast spot with so many options. The Authentic Mexican Burrito was packed with filling and big. The red velvet waffle was gigantic and the benedicts looked quite good. Portions are huge, as others have said. Staff is friendly. There was a hair in our water which ultimately wasn’t a big deal. Good spot overall.

I'm sorry to leave a one star review but I hate this location the music in the café is extremely loud and even in the kitchen you can hear it just from the bathroom and noise from people sitting in the dining room, it gave me such a headache, the waitress we had never took our menus from our table after we ordered or checked on us once during eating lunch, I noticed her standing by the door looking at her cellphone, I'm not a fan of the open concept kitchen either, parking here is a bit difficult and you either have to walk up stairs to access the dining room or take the wheelchair lift. Great local spot for good service and food! Went for breakfast and was not disappointed with the stuffed French toast and corned beef hash. French toast had a tasty filling with fresh berries. The corned beef hash was flavorful with some green onions mixed in. The potatoes were well seasoned but the star was the salsa. It is some of the best restaurant salsa I can remember, super flavor and spice was there but not overpowering. It was so good we asked for some to go, which the friendly staff obliged. My husband had the Smoked Salmon Scramble and a Bloody Maria, and I had the Stuffed French Toast and Bloody Mary. Outstanding! Absolutely delicious and the service and atmosphere was top notch. They have an extensive menu which made it really hard to choose as there were so many things I wanted to try. My husband and I are here visiting our son in the Marines (Camp Pendleton) and decided to stay in nearby Carlsbad. Swami's was a 4 minute walk from our Airbnb and we chose it based on location and other Google reviews. Definitely did not disappoint, we will come again, and we highly recommend.
