Wow! What an authentic American experience! I used to love eating at Strings on Madison a hundred years ago but now that's gone. I'm here visiting from China & spotted Strings on Manzanita & was not at all disappointed. What a truly phenomenal experience! Finally decided to bite the bullet and try the Cioppino. That was definitely on the lower end of quality. The mussels were mushy and shells were breaking and thin. The fish filet was was okay. Shrimp is shrimp. And the scallops were small. The sauce was really thin and had some flavor but not anything strong unfortunately -- basically whatever the sauce was supposed to be then watered down -- which i feel like would have been good otherwise. Reply: Thank you for responding. I feel like you gave a lot of excuses. The shrimp on your website is $1 less. It's not about the cost. What we received was not good at all. Lacking sauce and bland. I can't say it's because of Doordash since we have ordered pasta from another restaurant before and it had plenty of sauce. Please see the shrimp photo.
