Well I've been to a few Filipino restaurants, been enthusiastically anticipating this one Tita Celia's. Finally made it here after a good several years of residing in the Bay area. This restaurant did not disappoint. It was all and everything I heard about from numerous of sources. My wife wanted to surprise me by taking me here because I'd been talking about it for the longest time and we lost our local spot in Lomita. Tita Celia's was a near replica of our first location which had moved into a different location within the same plaza. They weren't so pleasant after they had moved and it t

Tita Celia’s Filipino Comfort Food is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino cuisine. Their breakfast selection is one of the best I’ve seen—homemade longanisa, tender tapa, sweet tocino, bangus, silog meals, and more—all at very competitive prices. You can really taste the care they put into their food, especially with their house-made longanisa, tapa, and tocino. Everything is seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. Visiting LA and as someone who lived a long time in the Philippines I miss Pinoy food a lot. They provide counter service (cafeteria style) where you can see all the cooked dishes and pick what you want. Very authentic dishes. I tried a lot of dishes with the group I was with. If you are new to Filipino food, the Pork BBQ, Sisig and Lechon Kawali would be good first choices from what I tried. I did feel the kawali could have bee

Very unsatisfying and disappointing. The breakfast combo is so dry and almost no taste at all, leche flan is the worst I have ever tasted and the cassava cake is so hard i can’t even slice it. I am sure that it was not like this before, to management please make sure that you will not compromise the taste and quality of food despite of inflation. I am definitely sure that there a lot of small business around this area that are better than this established restaurant.
