Really enjoyed our lunch here! It was a great overall experience with attentive service and fast food delivery. My wife did the half soup/half sandwich combo with the Shrimp Salad Sandwich and the Ham & Navy Bean Soup. She really enjoyed the shrimp salad and said the flavors in both dishes were well-prepared and seasoned. The soup had a ton of ham, though she noted she would have loved a few more beans in the mix. This is a must stop! Easy to miss driving on busy road but find it and enjoy! The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. 40 years of eating crab cakes and they have the best cake in Maryland! Had the fresh orange squeezed crush... Fantastic! Had the Chesterfield Salad with the crab cake on top. To die for! The turkey Reuben ( you have to ask...not on the menu) and it was wonderful. And the French dip sandwich is just luscious. Went there to have lunch with a friend i haven't seen in 30 years. We were talking so much we kept forgetting to look at the menu. The server was so patient with us. He saw we were having a great time catching up. He made us feel welcome and we finally ordered and the food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Loved my experience at G L Shack 🥰

I order the steak and fritters, the steak was cold and really salty, the chimichurri was dry...we order 2 burgers and honey old bay wing the burgers were also really salty but the wings are always good.We often eat at this place because the cocktails and food are very good, but today we don't know what happened, everything was extremely salty. We will still return because the service is excellent and usually everything is very good.
