Don't let the exterior fool you. This place serves good food as all the items I ordered was tasty. The macaroni and cheese was gooey delicious and chicken and catfish nuggets seasoned well. Even the coleslwaw had a nice refreshing crisp to it. They had some dessert options, but I didn't try them so only 4 stars

My son went there last night around 8:15PM.order a baked chicken meal, when he got home it looked a mess, I never seen before. What they call baked chicken was I am guessing boil chicken, what looked that looked half done. The skin was still white and Mac& cheese was not cheesy. He said they kept asking did he want barbecue sauce? Our family go there a lot but after last, they lost us. He called and me. And both times two different reasons. That go to show how treat us , make sure you check your baked chicken and anything else from now. They said for us to hold the food and bring it back. Th

I don’t say this lightly, but for a place that calls itself “soul food,” this was hands down the worst food I’ve eaten in my 42 years. Everything is always good here. The vibe, the staff and even the people waiting sit patiently knowing what they came for. My favs include the thick homestyle macaroni and cheese, the collard greens, steak fish, fried catfish and fried flounder. My favorite appetizer includes their crab sticks they are seasoned to perfection and fried hard enough to crunch but not hot enough to burn my mouth.
