George’s Local was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Cedar Falls. I started with the Breakfast Old Fashioned, made with bacon-infused rye, maple syrup, and walnut bitters. First time coming here my party was greeted very warmly by the hostess along with the cutest atmosphere. We then had a good time picking between some local dishes and ones I’d never heard of. Our waitress was very kinda and attentive and regularly checked up on us without needing to ask if we needed something. She even helped us with our bill since part of my order had something that didn’t quite fit my tastes. Overall this place went above and beyond my expectations.
