This has quickly become my go-to ramen spot. Since returning from Japan, I’ve struggled to find ramen in Texas that comes close to what I had there, and I had almost given up. Then I found this place. The ramen here is on par with some of the restaurants I visited in Japan. The noodles are especially impressive, and the chicken karaage reminds me of the street food I had while traveling. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and authentic. My only minor complaint is that I wish the chashu pork had a bit more char or caramelization. Other than that, I genuinely think this is the best ramen

Ramen 512 this place is the real deal. First thing you notice is the interior, the decorations make it feel like you just stepped into a ramen shop in Japan just double the store size. The ramen bowls look small at first, but don’t be fooled. Once you dig in, there’s a perfect amount of noodles hiding under the surface. The broth is incredibly balanced and the pork might honestly be the best cooked pork I’ve ever had in ramen. If you go, I recommend the Black Tonkotsu ramen. I absolutely love that they do weekly specials. My favorite type of Ramen is tsukemen and their noodles are the best. They have such a good bouncy texture. I also really like their karaage. I like that they use big pieces of chicken. Other restaurants will make theirs too small and they get dry, but the ones here are really nice and juicy. Follow their Instagram to see the specials.
