This was my first time trying this Diner. I was really looking forward to great food if nothing else. However, the food was surprisingly underwhelming. 1st, I ordered the breakfast combo. Pancakes had a weird taste to the point I couldn't finish them and thats unlike me. I was still hungry so I said to myself, let me order something else, surely it would be better. I then ordered chicken tenders w/mac &cheese and a biscuit. Again, I was not able to eat all of my food (and not bc I was full). Service was lacking. Up from Savannah GA, and we find a good Southern diner! LoL. Food was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I had The Barnyard Breakfast with a side of pork sausage (highly recommend!) and my beautiful companion had apple raisin oatmeal, warm cider, and cheese grits (!) Best part -- Great (Southern hospitality-like) happy service (Kaitlynn)! Right in the Reading Market and still value-priced. Very relaxing breakfast after an early morning flight.

I enjoyedy visit for breakfast. I had Fish and Cheese Grits with a biscuit. The staff was helpful and friendly. The booths are to tight to sit in for many. The chairs are more comfortable with cussioning. The ketchup container was uncomfortablely stick-greasy gross. The condiment containers could use a hot water and soap cleaning. I wouldn't hesitate to try this restaurant again. It has nice and warm comfort food.

Where to begin… Blake took care of us, and she was beyond amazing. Thank you, Blake! The food was so yummy, we will be coming back for more! The French toast and omelettes were so good and so were the pancakes! Their homemade jam is so good and strawberry like.
