My hubby and I came in today for a coffee and a pastry. I had a latte and he had an Americano. Both were great. We also tried a vanilla bean scone and lemon poppyseed muffin. The scone was soft and moist and sweet (we prefer this over a more dry, flakey scone), and the muffin had a perfect citrus punch to it. We also ended up grabbing a breakfast burrito to go. Ate the whole thing (with verde sauce which was BOMB) only to later learn that everything we ate was plant based...huge surprise. Hubby is a big meat eater and he didn't notice. Great place for a coffee and bite to eat. Highly recommen

Kind Bean is a charming little spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the indoor seating is limited, the space is clean and cozy, with additional outdoor seating available. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This café is a paradise for vegans, offering an extensive menu of plant-based options. I tried the sugar-free vanilla and strawberry latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely delicious—though I wish it had been a bit hotter. The cinnamon spiral was incredible; you wouldn’t even guess it was plant-based! My only small note to others

I came here all the time before they changed ownership. The baristas and owners really made an effort to know their customers by name - they remembered my name even after just three visits. I loved that “neighborhood coffee shop” feel because I live close by and would always walk here. It’s not a necessity, but in a world where things feel so impersonal, I thought it was a really quaint touch.
