My wife and I picked Anson’s for our anniversary dinner. It was special from the time we walked in the door. Any place that has been serving high quality food in Charleston, SC for 30+ years is bound to be great. We got a table upstairs which was less noisy and felt more intimate than the larger seating area downstairs. The food was cooked to perfection and was delivered hot and ready to devour. The wait staff was extremely accommodating and over the top nice. They made our special day a priority and we will be going back the next time we are in Charleston.

We dined at Anson last night and were blown away! It was our first night in Charleston and first meal after a long travel day. Darnell made this experience unique and memorable. He has a warmth and happiness that just radiates. True hospitality all around. From the hostesses, the management checking in, everyone hustling and moving in a busy atmosphere. The food was amazing but the hospitality is what you remember. Thanks for the great experience.

I really enjoyed Anson restaurant. Classic old school atmosphere, very elegant decor and excellent food. Their Classic low country cousin is exceptional. Please leave room for the most delicious Duck fat apple strdel (it's out of this world) I really recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our anniversary tonight at the Anson. Our experience was first class from start to finish! The service was stellar, and the food was incredible (we had she-crab soup, baby beet salad, ravioli, and the halibut). Portions were perfect, and top notch. We highly recommend the Anson. Parking is close and convenient as well. We couldn't have asked for better.
