I wish I could remember our server’s name. She was brilliant. Appetizer choice - the hummus. The pickled onions made all the difference. The crunchy chickpeas were also a nice touch! We ordered the cheesesteak for our main course which was dynamite. But when she said mixed greens with citrus vinaigrette I was like….uhmmmmm….who eats plain greens with nothing else. Like hey can I get a cucumber or a crouton. We had a good laugh about it and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS. Thank you Berkeley’s for a fun and pallet-worthy experience!!

We took my mother-in-law to Berkeley’s in downtown Charleston for lunch and it did not disappoint. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and filling. If you’re into wine, their menu is fun and a little different from the usual—definitely worth exploring. The standouts for us were the Philly cheesesteak and the chicken Parmesan sammie…both were so good. Pro tip: make a reservation on Resy, especially if you’re planning to go for dinner. This is one of those quintessential neighborhood spots that just hits every time. Highly recommend!

Loved it! Our server, Mia was friendly and helpful! Food was wonderful. Salmon dip was flavorful and we loved the house made chips! I had a wedge salad and the Parmesan pasta with the cutlet. Have to say the cutlets were really good! Tender and crispy! The frozen sangria was refreshing. You can tell that the owners really take pride in the food they serve! Ice cream was wonderful! It’s very unique. We were told the owners wife makes different flavors every couple of weeks! We had the strawberry cheesecake and the chocolate brownie! Loved both. Will be back soon.

We had a great experience at Berkeley’s in downtown Charleston. The food was fresh, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the time we walked in. It’s a great spot to grab a meal, catch up with friends, or just enjoy the Charleston vibe. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re downtown. Highly recommend!
