One of those dishes you order with zero expectations and end up dreaming about later! 🌶️ Must-try: ✔️ Hot Dry Pepper Fish Fillet ✔️ Basil Fried Rice ✔️ Chicken Lo Mein Nice seating, wonderful staff, and great atmosphere.. Wanted an authentic Chinese food and this place was quite good. Started with dumplings with hot oil - good garlicky flavor. Then, West Lake beef soup - the bowl was huge; this was okay, I've had better. Then BF had the beef with broccoli, he enjoyed it and I loved the twice-cooked pork; it's the first time I tried it and I loved it, thin slices of pork belly with lots of scallions, it was full of flavor. Then the bok choy with shiitake mushrooms, it was bland. Overall, it was a good choice and the prices were reasonable. Service was attentive. We came in around 2:30 and it was nice and quiet.

One my of favorite Chinese places. Their menu is unique, and you'll find many dishes not often featured on American Chinese food places. Their dry fried beef is one of my all time favorite dishes anywhere. It's very spicy, and makes your mouth numb /tingly from the actual Sichuan spices. Their duck has good flavor, and the pad Thai was actually very good as well.
