I arrived with a sleeping toddler and a stroller and called staff because the steps were kind of troublesome and they don’t actually wait on you. You have to order a counter, but they told me how to get on the elevator and how to get into the restaurant which is very kind and held the door open for me when I got up to the top. They had a very lovely menu and I ordered fettuccine with spinach and tomatoes and shrimp and some sweet potato fries for my grandson and a bagel and I’m having a nice pilsner. I wish the place didn’t smell like dogs but other than that it’s very nice. My grandson loves

I love eating at Coffee shops, so I love the atmosphere of this place. Food was ok. My breakfast: The omelet was great, hashbrowns not so much and the toast was dry. It would be better if the butter was put on the toast, while it was warm. Both my husband and I thought the hashbrowns need to be cooked more, and seasoned. I don't think there even was salt and pepper on them. Husband's meal: Not impressed, the egg should really be seasoned while cooking, not being served without. This was a great spot for breakfast. The prices were decent for downtown Chicago and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Nothing fancy, but very good food! Would definitely return.
