Cool spot with dark, moody vibes — a great place if you’re looking for something a little different. One thing to note: they use cheese in a lot of their dishes, so if you’re sensitive to dairy, just be aware when ordering. We tried the pasta, broccoli, and crispy potatoes. The broccoli and crispy potatoes were especially amazing — definitely the standout dishes for us. Portions are a bit on the smaller side, so I’d recommend ordering a few plates to share so you leave satisfied.

I like the old school atmosphere of this place. The food was ok if you like that east coast comfort food type of Italian food, not Italian from Italy type of Italian food. The pasta was way overcooked. The food runner team needs to work on knowing table numbers and seat numbers. The incorrect food was delivered to the table. Even when our own food was delivered, they kept interrupting conversation asking us if we have that dish and whose dish it is multiple times.

The place was easily 85 degrees tonight. Walked in and there was no host. We had reservations so we waited a bit for any host to be sat. Once sat by the scorching kitchen, we waited for 30 minutes to get our round of drinks and asked twice if we could order. The menus doubled as fans. The service was terrible. Apparently LeBron James was in the private room which meant we all suffered. They threw free drinks at us and comped most of our meal, which was appreciated. Quite a deal for the sweat and chaos. But will I dine there again? No.

The newbies ruined this classic old school SF spot! Today I saw a delivery man bringing in loads of Hawaiian Brand bread rolls...then I look at the menu..."Warm House Rolls", 2 for $8 with chilli lime butter. Those rolls are 42 cents each, retail at Safeway. Warm them up, add some lame butter and $4 each. What a joke!!!! "House Roll" straight from Safeway ;). Complete lunacy!!!
