What a great local restaurant! The food is delicious and the portions are generous, the staff is super friendly and attentive as well. The only constructive feedback I’d leave is: 1) Have a bug/fly trapper to avoid needing to swat flies from the food [we dined inside], and 2) Improve the ventilation to avoid having the food smell penetrate our clothes/hair.

I stopped by to visit The Rooted Fork while in town. The hostess is a sweetheart! She held the door open for me as I made my way in the restaurant. I was attracted to the homemade biscuits but unfortunately, it was a 35 minute wait for those. Instead, I opted for the steak hash, as suggested by the hostess. Normally, I would avoid red meat, as its not good for my digestive system. However, my body was begging to fill the iron deficiency with steak strips. As I ran back to the car to grab my book, the server kindly stood by my plate to guard it from the flies and birds. God bless her sweet s

Holy cow this place is the best for breakfast. We had the texas breakfast and the steakhouse forky. The steakhouse is a bed of tater tots cover with steak, eggs, gravy, grilled onions, cheese. Very friendly staff and clean. Love this place, cant wait to come back.

I order from here about once a month. The last time I ordered I mentioned something was off. The food wasn't quite as good as it usually is. Today I ordered from there and ended up throwing away the food and feed some to the dogs, because they don't care what they eat. I attached a few photos to show how bad the food was this round and the portions alot smaller than usual. I'll start off with the side of bacon that was old, dry and so crispy if you touch it, it turned into bacon bits with no flavor. The dogs liked it.
