This location is usually good, which is why it’s the only in Columbia I go to. However, today (2/17/26) I ordered a chicken strip tray w/ cajun fries and cheese bites. They gave chicken nuggets instead of cheese bites. I turned around and the cashier was very friendly about getting me the cheese bites. Everything was good, until I found a string of hair wrapped inside one of the cheese bites. This is so upsetting and quite disgusting.

I can’t make this up!! I came here twice and every time my food is always raw in the middle then I try to call them and I get sent to voice mail. This is unacceptable. Cookout will never have my money ever again. The workers are always yelling, they move so slow even when there not busy spent $13.73 just to only eat my hush puppies and ranch wrap this is just terrible do better.

As usual hot, fresh and flavorful tonight. They don’t burn the hush puppies❤️. And they don’t cost a kidney even after inflation. Such a blessing🙏🏾. This location deserves a raise. Especially the chef

Cook Out is a go-to for quick, cheap eats that still hit the spot 🍔🥤 The service is usually fast, and it’s hard to beat the value for how much food you get. Just be prepared for the lines - they can get pretty long later in the day or on weekends, especially during peak hours 🚗 If you catch it at the right time, it’s an easy win for a fast and affordable meal 👍
