I was not too impressed with my trip to DiPratos, which was disappointing because it had been recommended to me by a few different people, and I was excited to try it out. I came in a couple of minutes after 10:00 a.m., the time they open, and while I don’t expect a restaurant to be in tip-top shape the second they open, they did not seem at all ready for the day or to accept customers. I stood at the front for a few awkward moments before asking one of the hostesses if I was supposed to seat myself, when she replied “oh no, I’ll seat you”, and then led me to one of the nearby tables. We passed Di Prato’s the first morning we dropped our son off for school and it only took us 3 years to finally visit, what a loss for us! Good was awesome, service was great. Easy to understand why they are so busy. Learn from our mistake, start right away if you’re in the area!

I had lunch and truly enjoyed my first time visiting the restaurant! The service was great, very relaxed atmosphere, and great food! I had pimento cheese, chicken salad, and pita chips! I asked for a box to take the leftovers and mentioned that I couldn't wait for my mom to try it. My waiter brought a generous portion of extra samples for my mom which is not the kind of service you would get at a chain restaurant! You could tell the employees enjoyed working and being of service to the customers! I'll be back when I come back to visit Columbia, and I'm looking forward to trying dessert next ti
