Let me start with the positive. The girl at the front was really sweet. That’s it. I don’t care for atmosphere because I got my food to go. I never leave reviews. I only read them. Hear me when I say…this food is very bland. I try to support small businesses but the grilled tilapia with veggies had no flavor. Not even salt. Just paprika for presentation. I walked to get my food so now I’m upset because this was EXPENSIVE! I’m sorry if this is rude but if I didn’t have to walk back to get one I would definitely want a refund.

Very quiet on a Wednesday evening. I've read some comments about the atmosphere, it is not fancy but I am absolutely fine with that. Our server David was efficient and very courteous. The food is typical Mediterranean, but that is why we go to Green Olive. In my opinion, their Damascus bread is better than any I have ever tasted elsewhere, a bit chewier and thicker than most. The appetizer platter was great. I felt the portions were generous (we had the spicy chicken curry over rice and the chicken tips over rice). Great Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Columbia. I had several things on the menu and always been pleased. The lunch gyro and fries is great, but so is the shawarma and kebabs. Walkable to the Koger center if you want to grab a bite before a show.
