I had a surprisingly great experience for a little hole in the wall bar! The atmosphere was great - old school bar, nice holiday decor, and notably the music was the perfect vibe and the perfect volume. The music added ambiance and wasn’t so loud to affect conversation. The service was quick and friendly. The food was surprisingly good! I really enjoyed the chicken thigh bites with sweet chili sauce. What an awesome place it’s the first time I ever come to Boston and ran into this place while looking for somewhere to eat and have a drink and they have great selection of beers on tap, including a fantastic German beer, great food, great staff great atmosphere. They have arcade machines, a pool table and shuffleboard. great little spot. I highly recommend..

I'm glad I gave Hopewell another chance - the outdoor dining is so nice! I had a poor experience here years ago so was hesitant to return, but gave the outdoor dining a shot and was pleasantly surprised! The chicken sandwich was banging, chip dip is awesome. Good cocktails. Not terribly priced either. I'll def be back - glad we have at least two solid outdoor options on Comm ave for the summer.

One of the only bars I've ever had good food at as a vegan. Staff was extremely friendly. If you can sit by a open window it's a plenty nice dinning experience but at the bar has several large TVs which is not to my taste. Still I know that has more appeal to some people. Overall favorable impression.
