I ordered takeout from Tarboosh was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. They may offer the best traditional Levantine (Syrian/Lebanese) Mediterranean food I’ve had in the Boston area. Everything we ordered was delicious, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. The portion sizes were also generous. I’d order from here again and would recommend checking them out!

I ordered the Chicken Kebab Lunch Plate for delivery, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and lacked seasoning. On the bright side, the rice was relatively tasty, and the standout was definitely the creamy yogurt/hummus-style dip—it was incredibly rich, dense, and flavorful! While that side was a highlight, the main course fell short of expectations.

Incredibly delicious and authentic. I had their Saj Chicken shawarma which was incredible and so flavorful. Saj is the peak of shawarma if you haven’t tried it, in my opinion it’s much better than a traditional pita wrap. My friends got the falafel Saj and lamb Saj and all loved their food as well. The staff was friendly and attentive and gave us a complimentary treat at the end of our meal which was very kind. I will be coming back when I get a craving for shawarma. Easily the best shawarma in Boston I’ve had.

I’ve eaten at Tarboosh a few times before, and when I went to buy something today—although the service was friendly—the food was a complete disappointment. I ordered a small Lahm Bi Ajin, and it was completely different from what I’ve bought in the past, and even from the photos on the menu. I was truly disappointed; I certainly didn't expect this. I also asked for garlic sauce, but it wasn't included. Usually, the box comes with a few pieces of pickles inside, but they were missing this time. Even the color of the manakish looked different, which didn't make it look appealing at all. I offere
