I had not been in a while, and when my friend wanted to have lunch at Zaftigs, I decided to give it another try after being disappointed several years ago. Unfortunately, Zaftigs has not improved and may have slipped further. The decor is busy, with hardscape elements that echo, making conversation at a small 2-top almost impossible.
