Phenomenal place to get a meal, my wife and I had the breakfast omlette, eggs, hashbrowns, grits and the country fried steak. It was all delicious, it was like something I’d make in my own kitchen. The staff was all friendly, accommodating and quick to bring food and drink. I also like the atmosphere of this place quite a lot, mostly older military vets and people who actually look ‘Texan’. I look forward to coming back again!

When we walked in. Place was not too busy. We went to sit at a table. There was three dollars on the table. Along with a knife and napkin. No one ever came to wipe our table down that we sat at. Our waitress asked what we wanted to drink. We were not giving any time to look at the menu. I ask could you give a little more time. Well the waitress didn’t come back from then on she was down right RUDE to us. She never came back to ask us about anything. Might understand if they were truly busy. THEY WERE NOT. This was a nice find. Great little hometown restaurant with a laid back mom and pop feel. The waitress were running like I've never seen. They were all over the place making sure everyone was taken care of and getting what they ordered. The food came out fast considering how busy they were. Had the 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, grits, home fries, and toast. Everything was yummy but the home fries weren't my favorite. Over all this is a wonderful little places that makes you feel like family. We'll definitely be back soon.

I found my favorite place to eat. Their food is delicious. I never finish a plate of food..whenever I go out to eat..but this time around I cleaned through plate. This plate was full of flavor. My Breakfast plate had cheese, potatoes, eggs and meat..I enjoyed every bite I took. The environment is very pleasant and the customers themselves are very friendly. The waitress that we had was very attentive and friendly. What I remember about her the most was all the brooches that she had in her blouse. I know I found a special place to eat here in Copperas Cove.
