My partner and I attended dinner on Saturday with a reservation. The vibe was immaculate; it was busy and full. Our service was fast, and our waiter/server was great. I LOVED the red wine flight as it came in large wine glasses and not small cups/glasses. We enjoyed the bread appetizer, baked Brie (great for two people), and the teriyaki beef skewers. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint, and we especially loved the vibe in the bar area. We ordered the filet and lobster special and the cioppino. The presentation was nice, but the food quality didn’t quite match the price in my opinion. There were no non-alcoholic drink options listed, though our server kindly made a custom citrus drink that was well done. We plan to dine again to try the appetizers and salads at the bar.

It was busy, so it took a little bit to get our drinks ordered, etc., but well worth the wait. My wife got the ribeye steak and I got the rack of lamb, both cooked medium rare. The green chile Gorgonzola topping for the ribeye was incredible, and mixed with the char on the steak was a perfect combination. The rack of lamb came with a risotto that was garlicky in the most delicious way, and the lamb was succulent. My husband and I had avoided this spot for so long because of some bad reviews —Don’t let them stop you! I encourage you to ignore the negative reviews and give this place a try, it was amazing. Tragically, I feel like people just love to hate this place. The service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. Our water glasses were always full, they checked in with each course, cleared plates promptly, and guided us through the menu with friendliness and professionalism.
