The vibes are immaculate—chill college energy, cozy seating, board games out, perfect place to sit, relax, and just exist. The donuts?? INSANE. The flavors go crazy, and the potato donuts ATE!!! Finding Death by Donuts was the best welcome to Corvallis I could have asked for. I’m not usually a "donut guy," but I’ve never had an experience quite like this. The quality is unmatched; the maple bars are elite and were so remarkably fresh they almost felt like they were still warm. I brought a box to the job site, and the whole work crew was asking for the name of the shop by the first bite. Stopped by to grab a potato donut. I had never had one before. The donut itself was a nice balance of sweetness to the potato starch flavor in the batter. A lot of donuts can be too sweet because of the sugar in the batter and then the sugar in the toppings, but the donut I had was well balanced, sweet but not too much so. The staff was social and friendly. I didn't catch his name, but he was happy to answer my questions about what it was like to work there, and about the overall atmosphere. Great spot, good donuts, I definitely plan to come back
