Took the wife here for a nice dinner and it definitely didnt disappoint! Service was great and our waitress explained everything on the menu well and was very attentive. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! Chicken was well seasoned, mac and cheese was excellent, and the green beans were packed with flavor! When you go you must try the Pork Belly Bruschetta, you wont regret it! Will be back to try the rest of the menu soon.

Incredible! Delicious! All the things that make a memorable dining experience truly enjoyable. The staff was attentive (Kelli was fantastic!) and the vast selection of spirits/appetizers/main dishes were perfectly portioned and timed flawlessly. But the dessert!! So so so so so good! We tried the fabulous bread pudding (and that caramel sauce!!! What?!) along with a healthy slice of pecan pie w butter pecan ice cream. Will be back again soon!

We read about how good the fried chicken is, so we called to make reservations for a Saturday night (you have to call). The place is small and has a very weird vibe between fine dining and kitschy. Service was spotty. Our drinks sat at the end of the bar for 15 minutes before they were delivered. I had to say something to the bartender. The manager did comp those drinks because we waited so long. Nice customer service and we appreciated that! The fried chicken batter was wonderful, but very salty. ​We had such a fantastic time sitting at the bar at The Purple Poulet! The staff were fast, attentive, and so easy to talk to, which really added to the experience. The food was incredible and truly high-class, with a lovely touch of sorbet served before dinner as a palate cleanser. Be sure to order the bread pudding with homemade caramel; it is a must! Just a pro-tip: if you’re planning to visit on a weekend, make sure to book a reservation in advance.
