Great cafe that deserves a larger space. First visit to any cafe I always get a black coffee and something food-wise they’re good at. Coffee is good, not great. That’s not a diss. I’m happy with good. Got this banana choc muffin and although it doesn’t look like much after I’ve mangled it a bit, this is one of the best muffins I’ve ever had and incredible value. Not only delicious, soft and moist, but seriously heavy. The bag feels at least a pound. When I first moved to Rhode Island, Beans & Buns was one of those rare places that made the state feel like home. The staff are down to earth and make an effort to get to know their regular customers. Their drinks and sandwiches are worth the slightly higher price point because they are very intentional with each menu item. I highly recommend the SEAT sandwich (Sausage, Egg, Arugala, Tomato); the dijonaise is delicious and the bread is toasted evenly every time. I’ve wanted to visit this establishment for awhile now and happy to say it didn’t disappoint. Cold brew coffee was excellent. The cinnamon bun is worth naming the business after. Finally the Lox bagel I got was fantastic. I’ll be looking forward to when I come again.
