Great coffee and tea, but the real standout was the bacon, egg, and cheese, absolutely delicious! The staff was super nice and the place was really clean. I also love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the line moved quickly which was a nice surprise. Not too loud either which made it a perfect spot to relax. Highly recommend!

Coffee and pastries are good but the breakfast burrito is probably the worst I’ve ever had. The Angeleno has avocado in it and it’s clear that they make them in batch and then heat them up for you. If you cook, you know mushed up hot avocado basically tastes like garbage. The salsa roja tasted like old tomato sauce, and they charge for each salsa ugh. Burrito was already $14 something, couldn’t even eat half of it was so nasty. An embarrassment for an LA cafe to have such abysmal breakfast burritos… won’t be getting them again but I’ll go back for the coffee and pastries if convenient.

Coffee Commissary is one of two coffee shops walking distance from me in Palms, so I’ve been a few times now. It’s a good place to work because there’s lots of tables (but I have noticed they play their music REALLY loud, so maybe they don’t actually want people working there, I don’t know). The coffee is fine, I specifically like their blended drinks; there aren’t many places around these days where you can get good blended drinks besides coffee bean.
