One of the best Sichuan spots I’ve tried recently. The food tastes very authentic and every dish came out full of flavor. The Leshan Beef (跷脚牛肉) was definitely the highlight for me — the broth was rich and comforting, the beef was super tender, and the flavors were layered in a really traditional way. The 毛血旺 was also excellent: spicy, numbing, and packed with ingredients, but still balanced instead of just pure heat. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. A good concept that somehow has not got a lot of followers in this restaurant. Perhaps the location is not great fir restaurants. When we visited around 12:45pm on a weekday, there was virtually no customer inside. I didn’t see much takeout activity either. The food was actually quite good and prices were reasonable. The brown rice could be softer. The dishes were not greasy, and the seasoning wasn’t overly strong although the sauce was a bit too salty. Went for dinner in the middle of the week. There wasn't many people dining in so I got a table immediately. Ordered 3 dishes: noodles, pork belly and beef soup. The noodles was the highlight of the dinner. I would highly recommend it. It's slightly hot where you can feel the heat but not much after that. They also have the numbing oil to pair with it. The beef soup was very delicious. The beef slices in there are soft and tender. The broth itself taste very clean. The dish I didn't like was the pork belly over the mustard greens. Excellent Chinese dishes at great prices. Flavors are authentic and markedly different from what you get at other establishments. Portions are also manageable with a correspondingly lower price tag. Great news for anyone who's not a fan of overly huge portions and taking out leftovers. Self order via kiosks and self collection removes the service aspect which is another bonus. Interior is modern and pleasing. The set meal for 2 is a good deal. Only available in store and not via Doordash etc. Overall this place is doing things right. Keep it up!!
