Came here 2x, first was with my girlfriend and then with my husband. We enjoyed the stir-fry veggies, and the flavours of the dumplings and buns. Although we must say, the buns while the meat was juicy inside (for the pork), the buns tasted quite dry. Same thing as the dumplings - we almost tasted more of the soya sauce flavours than the main star of the dumplings/buns. Overall happy to come here 2x and ordered different veggies, dumplings, and buns.

Food is very delicious and authentic. We especially loved the crab noodle, which uses the crab’s own roe as a rich creamy sauce! Chive pancakes are differently shaped than chive pancakes that I’ve had elsewhere (the ones here are smaller vs the wider ones I normally get) but this gives a better crunch to filling to ratio. The design is also exquisite and reminds me of pictures of old Shanghai back in the day. Major props to the interior designer of this place. Would definitely come back!

Probably won't be back. The food felt pretty far from authentic. The pressed tofu with malan greens was a small portion and came out too salty. The xiao long bao had wrappers that were far too thick, and the pork filling was heavy and greasy. That same filling problem showed up in the pan-fried buns and the pork potstickers too. Every one of them needed a lot of vinegar just to get through. The one bright spot was that the bottoms of the sheng jian and potstickers were nicely pan-fried, but that alone wasn't enough to save the meal.
