Double D’s is exactly what our generation needed. This is an environment where being “too cool” isn’t allowed. It exudes positivity, love, dancing and fun! They have amazing happy hour specials and local dj’s setting the energy most nights. Staff is diverse which is a huge plus in my book. Shows that everyone is welcomed! If you love craft cocktails, they have them! There’s no kitchen so make sure to eat before! You’ll be fine. It’s best to get there early because if not, there is a long line. Great vibes! Its built like an old school home with carpet on the walls in the entryway and wood on the walls inside. Such a cozy and KRUNK vibe. Music was bomb and its very LGBTQ friendly but it's NOT JUST lgbtq. All types of people and all good looking! Dusty was the best bartender and had the drinks floowwiinngg 🚿 We are glad we got here early because there's plenty of seating but if u want the mix&mingle chill lounge/club vibe, come in a little after 10. The best bar in Dallas. Absolutely a must visit anytime you’re in the city. The drinks are amazing, the daiquiris are to do die for Thursday Saturdays and Sunday, this is the nightlife destination. The resident DJs are as following: Sensei Blue every Thursday, Saucy D every other Saturday and the 2025 Dallas Observer Best DJ Brandon Blue every Sunday. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I came to Double D’s as a paying customer to celebrate a major promotion and simply wanted to be served. Instead, I was treated with disrespect, escorted out, refused a refund for drinks I had already paid for, and told by the manager that I was never welcome back. I was there with friends, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, who were also told to leave. The overall treatment of our group felt hostile and deeply troubling.
