super super delicious food with really high quality fish and friendly service. their fish to rice ratio is amazing and the flavors in all their dishes are so so so good. i especially loved the tuna carpaccio, the fish quality was melt in your mouth with a light and refreshing sauce. the tuna crispy rice had the perfect texture, and were so savory and delicious. the mixed tempura is a very good portion and everything is friend perfectly. their baked mussels were also creamy and delicious. you really cant go wrong with anything here.

I’ve tried a lot of sushi spots around OC, and this place genuinely stands out as the best. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the presentation is always on point, and the quality is consistent every single time I come in. My go-to rolls are the Dana Kai roll, OC roll, Sunset roll, and Tuna Lover roll — each one is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. You can tell they don’t cut corners with ingredients, and it really shows in every bite. The service is also great — friendly, attentive, and they make you feel welcome without being over the top. The food was very tasty and overall the experience was enjoyable. The staff was generally friendly, and the service was good. At times, the atmosphere can feel a bit noisy, especially when the restaurant is busy. Even during quieter periods, there were moments when staff communication was quite loud, which slightly affected the overall dining experience. I would also suggest that the team continues to develop customer service communication to ensure an even more welcoming and polished guest experience, especially from staff members in leadership roles.

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in South County. The sashimi is a delight- the tempura rolls are crunchy, light, and fresh. The salads are addictive. And even the hot bowls are a hit. We've been maybe 12 times now and the food is consistently delicious.
