Super disappointing experience here. We had two entrees with the thali added, and we received no riata or achar. The dal was also the consistency of water. Honestly, the entrees had good flavor. Had we gotten only entrees and nothing else we very well might have been satisfied. As it is, we were disappointed.

I regret that my experience here last week was a strange and unpleasant one. I followed the Yelp review and came in here for buffet lunch. I ended up having to eat a 2nd lunch elsewhere AFTER eating all the items other than the rice here! I thought I might have went to a wrong place. Upon checking the photos posted by others, I indeed ate at the Kathmandu kitchen, what happened? The place was dark - inside and outside. I almost missed its front door. There was no other customers during the peak lunch hours - that should have been a cue ! The food was served on a stainless steel tray

I visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. While the kadai prawns had a decent curry taste, they were disappointingly undercooked and had a strong smell. The aloo paratha was okay, but nothing exceptional. Moreover, I was surprised that rice wasn't included as a side dish for the curries, forcing us to order it separately. The ambience and lighting were also lacking, contributing to a dull atmosphere.
