Just absolutely love Mikuni. The Davis location was great. We were seated quick, the apps were fast and delicious. We placed our order after perusing the menu and asking questions and were blown away with how quickly the rolls came out! I don't think there is a bad roll on the menu. We all agree that Tony Leftovers is our favorite, followed by Incredible, DMC, Rainbow and Benjamin

I had the lobster specialty hand roll. It didn't have as much flavor as expected and it felt quite dry as I ate it. I also ordered the Sacramento Roll, which they had to make twice because for some reason the menu doesn't list avocado as an ingredient. Nearly every other roll on the menu indicated whether it had avocado. I don't eat avocado, so it needed to be remade without it. The Sacramento Roll also states "lobster" as an ingredient when it's obviously imitation crab. Their payment terminal wouldn't work with GPay, so I needed to go grab my physical card from the car. I ordered Mussolini pasta. There is no taste, it just bland. $27 for this stir fried noodle is overpriced. Chirashi don - very fresh. Our Service was very slow. It wasn’t busy at all though

Mikuni’s food is truly on another level. Every time I visit, each staff member greets you individually — you feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The service is consistently attentive, warm, and professional. I’ve had sushi all over the U.S., but no matter where I go, I always miss Mikuni’s flavor. There’s something special about the way they prepare their food — balanced, refined, and unforgettable. Outstanding quality, excellent service, and a place I’ll always come back to.
