I’m a Lebanese born and raised in Lebanon. I am a picky eater. I visit Michigan at 6 times a year. My family and I love this bakery. It’s friendly family owned and operated. They are absolutely the most welcoming, affectionate and friendly family you may ever meet. This is a 100% authentic Lebanese bakery. The Manaqeesh are best of the best in USA Full Stop. The dough is perfectly prepared and baked. The seasoning and condiments are just perfect balance. The portions are large and very reasonably priced. I eat there daily when I’m in Dearborn. Went out of my way to try a new bakery… was not what I’m used to at the least. Maybe the regular customers like there items swimming in oil but not me it got all over me my car and anything that was near it. Al Watan Bakery is my go to spot for bakeries. Their pies are really good and I especially like the bread they use because it is not as thick as other bakeries, which makes it even better. I would definitely recommend trying their meat with cheese or even their veggie pizza slices. The workers are friendly and very fast. They have never messed up my order and always make the experience easy and enjoyable. The people that work there are honestly the best. Overall, Al Watan Bakery is a reliable spot with great food that I always come back to.
