The grilled toast was amazing! Especially when dipped into the curry broth — such a great combination. I loved the aroma from the grilling, which really brought out the flavour of the toast. The chicken wings were also very good, and although the steak in the salad was slightly overcooked, the dish itself was still enjoyable and came with a generous portion of greens. The sweet potato fries paired really well with the hot dog too. The server was also very attentive and took great care of us throughout the meal :)

I went with my nieces 10 & 12 yrs old. They picked out the restaurant because the menu was very inviting on the website. We sat outside for a different vibe. The street was busy. Our meals were absolutely delicious and amazing presentation. We loved the service and a wonderful conversation with the waitress about the food. I wished that I had the picture to share. Very clean restaurant. We will definitely go back again.

I had a great experience at The Grove Tavern in DeKalb, and a big part of that was thanks to Riley Woodman. From the moment I walked in, Riley was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything went smoothly. It didn’t feel forced or scripted—just natural, friendly service that made the environment comfortable. Riley stayed on top of everything throughout the visit, checking in at the right times without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in their work and understand how much good service impacts the overall experience. It’s not always easy to find
