A good Indian-Nepali fusion restaurant in the heart of Denton. It’s a small but well maintained place with good food. We went for lunch and we had their butter momos (momos with butter chicken gravy), Chicken Thali set and Chicken lollipop gravy. We loved the momos and lollilop. Also a masala chai tea. Parking will be a task since there are not many parking spots but it is at a very accessible place. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They took care of all our needs.

We have recently visited spicy chowk after seeing the reviews and us from Indian background didn’t enjoy the food. We ordered fried momos, jhatka chicken and chicken fried rice, whereas we were extremely disappointed with the flavour and spiciness. Fried momos had a very very thick covering and dry. Jhatka chicken is basically tasteless and we ordered spicy which it is definitely not. Chicken fried rice is okayish, nothing bad but nothing to point out as good as well.

Second time here. Even better than the first! Wife was craving their Butter Momo. We opted for the veggie dumplings for the momo. So good with just a slight kick of heat but very flavorful. Lots of butter sauce which I enjoyed eating with the garlic naan bread. We shared an appetizer and an entree and still had food leftover to take home. Highly recommend! 👌
