We had a great experience at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and accommodating as I tried to decide what to order for my family. The owner even took the time to show me what a full rack of ribs looked like so I could better visualize how much food we would be getting. The food was fresh and delicious. The ribs were flavorful and cooked well, and the fried okra and potato salad was absolutely fantastic. Excellent food paired with outstanding customer service made this an easy choice for us. I eat at home at dickies all the time. Very good food and a little pricey. The one in dothan however is another story. I had to tell the guy my order at least 3 or 4 times. Food was served cold and the turkey wasn't fresh smoked either. It was deli turkey and not the quality kind. Will not eat there again.

First time ever at a Dickey's. Had a taste for BBQ, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and BBQ beans. I liked both the regular and sweet sauces. Really liked the beans! The green beans were ok. The pork itself was good overall with a nice flavor, albeit a little dry. You have to go into the stock room to get to the bathroom, but they were clean overall. Not much decor overall, and little seating. The biggest issue for me is by the time you get the one-meat plate, a drink, and leave a tip, it costs over $23. Hard to justify that for lunch. Not

What a delightful experience to have all around the board. Customer service was beyond great and the owner Mike is doing a phenomenal job. We were in town briefly and was referred to Dickey's. We ordered a variety of items including brisket, smoked wings, ribs, macaroni and cheese and a few other items. Everything was great and we even got a chance to try a few other items courtesy of Dickey's.
