Was just driving through and found this little gem of a restaurant and so glad I did! The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere very welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing! Every bite bursted with flavor making me want more. Their soup was also super unique and tasted great. I will definitely be stopping by again when driving near this area and have already recommended the place to friends and family which is not something I do often. Finally stopped in for lunch. We've been meaning to try it out after seeing many reviews... And they did NOT disappoint! The food was wonderful. Fresh ingredients and even better atmosphere. We had the Hot Roast Beef sandwich with fries (the bread was amazing), the Pesto Chicken Caesar Salad (Perfectly moist pesto chicken breast), and Spinach & Artichoke Dip (served with the best warm bread). All of it was perfect. The owner and staff are the sweetest. I could go on and on! We received much more than food today! Full bellies and full hearts ❤️ We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal sandwiches. We highly recommend the “West of Eden” with fresh baked tomato bread and tons of flavor. The Gouda burger is good, too, with a smoky and sweet combo. (Barely any of the burger left in the photo—ha.) Our waitress, Courtney, was very nice, too!

This was my first visit to The River Nile. My server was fantastic. He was super friendly and recommended that I try the peanut butter cake so I ordered some to take home. I had breakfast and it was delicious. The beignets are great dunking them into coffee. The only part of my visit that was not good was I had a text that I was supposed to receive 10 percent off my breakfast order but they did not take off anything. I did not realize this until I got home (which is an hour away from Dothan). This is the reason that I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.
