This photo is a double stack of oxtail with collard greens and string beans if you want other things, they have them. I also have some lemon pepper wings done the owner’s way which I think is better. This is a must try, especially the oxtail Cause a little bit but definitely worth it tropical delight a must stop if you’re in Dover or passing through Dover, the food is great has many options.

I ordered the seafood meal with the 2 crab cakes, fried clams, and shrimp with fries. I guess being it was almost time do close they gave me whatever the had left. I didn't get any clams or shrimp. They gave me a bunch of red beans and rice and threw 2 crab cakes on top. Who in the hell eats crab cakes with red beans and rice. Will never order again.

From the first time that I ordered the fried flounder and Catfish, I was hooked. Tropical Delight Cafe , is my go to spot when I have my end of the summer BBQ, I host 100- 200 people and I order my food from there. And I hire the servers , they come set up serve and clean up. All I need is the table to put the food on , they come with everything else. Very accommodating, if you want something thats not on the menu, just ask, Mama G (the owner) is just the best. You cant go wrong, with TROPICAL DELIGHT CAFE!!!

Good food, terrible service. We refuse to come back after the last few times we've been there. We really like their oxtails, but the kid they have at the front desk is too rude and short with us every time we've been there to keep spending the amount of money they charge for their food. Have had to ask her for forks when we've picked up our order for meals that clearly need forks and she handed them over as if we were asking for too much. We asked for condiments to go with the fish and she passed us ketchup packets without cleaning off her hands that were coated with powder or flour. We took t
