I went it into grab a few things, I was in a hurry and I seen the sale for the chips that read $4.99 but had a clip deal for $1.99 there was Doritos and Cheetos so I grabbed a Cheetos bag and when checking out I didn’t get the $1.99 price I asked the employee Alex and he was very rude and just told me it’s not part of it. He made it seem like I was going to cancel the item and keep it because he literally stood there until I took it off and put his hand out to give it to him. I was not going to take them! In my opinion they shouldn’t have items that are not part of the deal together with other

It seems to be an OK store, but I do have a complaint, more times than not, it stinks at the meat and seafood departments, and it stinks up the entire store. It makes us not want to buy our meat there! Just saying!

Recently I have been over charged substantially at Safeway and I have had to stand in line to get my refund. If it happens again I will not shop at Safeway even though I do like their products. Please be aware ~ ~ checkers do not seem to be very informed.

This store, particularly the deli dept has really upped their game. Been shopping here since I bought my house nearby around 24 years ago. Used to go across the street for the deli stuff. Kudos to the rotisserie chicken upgrade!
