This was a very nice experience! It’s a small house in the west end area of Richmond, not far off of West Broad. I read about it on a Northern VA Foodie Facebook group and just happened to be staying in the area the next day, so I stopped in with a coworker who really loves Pho too. It’s a small house in a neighborhood filled with similar sized houses, but it was easy to find, as it was the only ‘house’ on the street with a large parking lot, which was packed! Pho: flavorful and rich broth. Don't know what to order, order this, cant go wrong. Bun bo hue: perfectly cooked noodle, chewy bouncy. Paired with spicy savory beef soup. This is the one if you appreciate a strong and spicy flavor profile. The veggies that go with it is different from what I am use to, but it doesn't affect how tasty it is. I spent a lot of time in Vietnam and I ate a lot of pho! The prices are so fair. The broth both the chicken and the beef are very flavorful and they have several different sizes. You can choose from. Also, if you’re doing Takeaway, they do let you choose sizes where a lot of places do not let you choose the size the place is a little hidden it’s behind full kee in a little house there is street parking because a lot is very small when I left on a Saturday at noon when a blizzard was coming in it was very crowded and people were waiting for tables. Now now now… The Black man greeting people is with it. He is friendly, fast and hospitable. Seriously great service. Secondly the pho (beef broth with tofu) was so darn good! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ No compliant about it at all. The rice paper spring rolls can be worked on meaning: it only comes with the tofu and noodles, it would be nice if there were some fresh veggies (carrots, cabbage, mint, tofu, cucumbers and noodles with a dash of salt) - bam 💥 Other than that we really were happy with the service and pho. 🍜 Side note: there may be a wait. So be prepared.
