Miggs is one of the best restaurants in Dunedin. After a few visits, I would give it a solid 4.5 on food and decor and 5 on service. We’ve had May each time and she is so amazing at how she handles such a large party that we have shown up with each time. I have found the appetizers to been generally the best items on the menu. Loved the tuna tartar, calamari, lamb bites last night. My son’s hangar steak with colossal shrimp was really good overall except one pice of the steak was a bit tough but the other piece was really good. Hidden gem, trust me! Excellent little restaurant in Dunedin, chef does a great job with fusion foods and unique dishes that taste amazing. It’s not a big place so reservations are required or call ahead to make sure there is space before you go. We had a burger which was very good - one of the best burgers in Dunedin - and we had a few other dishes and deserts. Price wise, it’s in the higher side but not outrageous. Plates are BIG too so you get a lot of food. Easily shareable.

I did not speak after my first bite of my food, this was seriously the greatest burger I have had in my entire life. The entire tables food was amazing. I had the aged beef burger on the dinner menu. The drinks were delicious, I had blueberry lemonade. The appetizer of calamari melted in my mouth. The desert lava cake was unbelievable as well. I am not exaggerating, it was the best food and the BEST restaurant of my life.
