TLDR: Not enough food for how much you pay and my server pre-filled their tip hoping I wouldn't notice. This pasta dish was $45. The menu said $29 with a $5 addition for chicken. The amount of food does not match the price tag at all. Later, when the server handed me the terminal they first scrolled down heavily on it and pointed to enter my phone number so I would get a link to my tab to order more if I wanted. I must have lucked out because the food and service were both top notch. I had the meatball sub (I ordered without cheese, so don't judge that in the picture) and salad and it was lovely. The bread was fresh and had a good crust without being a risk to the roof of my mouth. The meatballs were tender and well seasoned and did not appear to be from a bag. The sauce was reported to be scratch made and I believe it. Lastly, the salad was very fresh, dressing nicely balanced, and the tomatoes were perfectly sweet. I just wanted a quick salad with some protein before my flight. I don't expect gourmet cuisine and I do expect to pay a lot but this was just bad. The lettuce was limp, the salad was underdressed, there were very few toppings and worst of all, the steak was awful. Overcooked (I asked for medium), tough and underseasoned. It was a lunch of regret.
