This is an experience you do not want to miss out on if you are a foodie and live in Connecticut. I know we have all seen the jiggly pancakes on the internet, but can now confirm they’re light and airy and full of happiness, while being dusted with matcha. I didn’t know it was going to be such a cute little food court spot, it’s one of the cutest I’ve ever seen! I love how they have fake pancakes and ice cream decorating their spot to show what everything looks like, they look so real! During our time at the mall, we stopped for some treats at Momo Matcha! We were impressed to see that they have their own signature ceremonial grade matcha imported from Japan, and everything we tried was high quality. We loved the matcha and strawberry soft serve, and the bubble waffle cone was really good. It was our first time trying soufflé pancakes, and they were such a fun treat. So many varieties to choose from that we can’t wait to explore on future visits. Such a hidden gem in the mall!

Everything at Momo Matcha is so delicious!! The soufflé pancakes are fresh and fluffy (jiggly 😋). The drinks are so good - I tried the strawberry matcha latte. And don’t skip on the ice cream! My kids and I stopped by during a recent shopping trip at the SoNo Collection. While I intended to try their Matcha Latte for a pick-me-up, we wound up getting a couple items because the menu looked so good. We loved the Soufflé Pancakes with strawberry & banana, Bubble Waffle with Oreo & Vanilla Ice Cream, and Coconut & Matcha Soft Serve Swirl. NOTE: The pancakes take about 20 minutes to cook because they make them from scratch, so sit back and enjoy a drink and savor each bite once the warm pancakes are ready.
